Glasgow Campaign

Support the White Ribbon Campaign in Glasgow!

White Ribbon Scotland is an organisation that actively campaigns to involve men in speaking out against Violence Against Women by engaging men and boys in taking action on the issue by raising awareness, promoting discussion and providing information and resources to support personal and collective action among men.

Glasgow is the largest local authority to work with White Ribbon Scotland to achieve White Ribbon status.

Here in Glasgow, we have a strong national and international reputation for innovative work to end Violence Against Women and support those affected by it. Projects include Routes Out of Prostitution, the 16 days of Action, and End Prostitution Now Campaigns, the TARA project (Trafficking Awareness Raising Alliance – supporting women trafficked for Commercial Sexual Exploitation), ASSIST (domestic abuse service) and interventions around the Forced Marriage Act.

We encourage everyone to get involved, pledge your support, and see how you can participate in our events. Your support is appreciated and does make a difference. Thank you!

Most men do not commit violence against women. But all men have a role in ending it. If we all start by making a pledge never to commit, condone or remain silent about men's violence against women in all its forms, that will make a huge difference.
