White Ribbon Scotland are looking for new Board Members!

Do you believe that men can play a part in ending violence against women?

Are you interested in joining the board of White Ribbon Scotland and helping influence our priorities and future direction?
White Ribbon Scotland is Scotland’s national campaign to involve men in tackling violence against women. We are part of the international White Ribbon Campaign, which is the largest effort in the world of men working to end violence against women, with campaigns in over 55 countries.

What we do

White Ribbon Scotland contributes to ending violence against women by engaging men and boys in taking action on the issue. We do this by raising awareness, promoting discussion and providing information and resources to support personal and collective action among men.

About us

White Ribbon Scotland is a Scottish charitable trust.  The board of directors is the governing body of the organisation.  Its role is to set the policy and strategic direction of the organisation and to ensure the legal and financial obligations of the organisation are met.

We are looking for people who are interested in joining our board. While we welcome involvement from women and men the nature of our campaign requires that a majority of board members should be men.

The board meets approximately 4 times per year.  Board membership is not a paid position but expenses are reimbursed.

If you are interested in being considered then please get in contact with Callum Hendry White Ribbon Scotland Co-ordinator for an application form;

*** THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS FRIDAY 26th FEBRUARY ***

White Ribbon Scotland is a charity registered in Scotland SC041385

Most men do not commit violence against women. But all men have a role in ending it. If we all start by making a pledge never to commit, condone or remain silent about men's violence against women in all its forms, that will make a huge difference.
