After weeks of planning with assistance from Berwickshire Housing Association (BHA) and others our Campaign Director enjoyed a productive visit to Scottish Borders where BHA hosted a meeting involving many local organisations including Men’s Shed, the local VAW Partnership Coordinator, Scottish Borders Council, Waverley Housing and Eildon Housing. After an input to relay how involvement with our campaign can help engage men in ending violence against women, and a detailed description of what is involved in gaining White Ribbon Scotland Status, plans are developing well in anticipation of there being a WRS Status Project in the Scottish Borders Area in 2020.
