Dunfermline Athletic FC’s continuing support of White Ribbon Scotland of saw the club hosting an event at East End Park with White Ribbon Fife to engage directly with the fanbase.
The event provided a platform for White Ribbon Fife representatives to have conversations with supporters, particularly male fans, and to distribute white ribbons. By facilitating this direct interaction, Dunfermline Athletic is using its public profile to promote awareness and encourage supporters to sign the pledge to never commit, condone, or remain silent about violence against women in all its forms.
Working closely with our White Ribbon Scotland Fife Status Project, DAFC are undertaking several initiatives, including the 2025 release of a new third kit. As part of this merchandise launch, a proportion of the sales revenue is dedicated to the local White Ribbon Campaign, and a white ribbon included with each new strip sent to supporters as a tangible reminder to wear the symbol and acknowledge commitment to the cause.
You can sign the White Ribbon pledge “Never commit, condone or remain silent about violence against women in all its forms”. Remember to link your pledge to your local Project (Fife Status Project if you’re a DAFC fan!)
After you sign it please consider an early example of your declaration to ‘not remain silent’ about violence against women by telling someone today that you signed the pledge and be proud you did – then encourage them to do the same.
