White Ribbon Scotland Logo Design Project
As part of West College Scotland’s involvement in the White Ribbon Scotland Status Campaign, Graphic Design students from the HNC Graphic Design with Illustration course in Clydebank were invited to create a college-specific logo for the campaign, as seen at the top of this page. The brief was to retain the White Ribbon symbol and blue background while incorporating elements of the College’s identity to create a recognisable and meaningful design. About the West College Scotland Status Project
West College Scotland delivers learning and vocational training to the West Region of Scotland, a catchment area of 1.2 million people, representing 23% of the resident population of Scotland. West have an important presence and deep roots in their main towns of Paisley, Clydebank, and Greenock. The WCS ‘footprint’ stretches north of Loch Lomond and south to Barrhead. As one of Scotland’s largest Regional Colleges, they provide education and training to over 20,000 students and employ around 1,150 staff.
