The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland has been teaching the performing arts in Glasgow since 1847. Building on roots as a national academy of music, it has grown over the years to be one of the most interdisciplinary and collaborative institutions in the world and is consistently ranked within the world’s top 10 performing arts institutions.
A White Ribbon Scotland Steering Group has been formed at to take a proactive approach within the Conservatoire in the fight against gender-based violence, fostering a culture of respect and equality. With a first group of students already trained as White Ribbon Scotland Speakers, the the Project is well placed to take the message to engage men in actively preventing violence against women and promoting gender equality.

You can sign the White Ribbon pledge “Never commit, condone or remain silent about violence against women in all its forms”.
