Support the Fife White Ribbon Campaign!

Violence Against Women is often seen as a “women’s issue” – The Fife White Ribbon Campaign wants to change that, encouraging both men and women to challenge attitudes and gender stereotypes that allow violence and abuse to thrive.

In Fife, during 2014/2015:

  • 4161 domestic abuse incidents were reported to the police
  • Fife Women’s Aid supported 792 women and 293 children
  • 829 sexual crimes were recorded by the police
  • Local sexual abuse agencies supported 563 survivors of abuse

Most men do not commit violence against women. But all men have a role in ending it. If we all start by making a pledge never to commit, condone or remain silent about men's violence against women in all its forms, that will make a huge difference.
