White Ribbon Scotland 'Side by Side' During 16 Days of Action!

Side By Side - A walk for equality!

When? Tuesday 3rd December, 12pm - 4pm

Where? The Hub, Top of Edinburgh's Royal Mile at 12pm; Dynamic Earth at 2pm

Why? To raise funds and awareness for organisations working to prevent violence against women

What is happening?

12pm-2pm: Men and women (as self- defined) will be teaming up to participate in a three-legged race from The Hub to Dynamic Earth.

2pm - 4pm: Featuring men who have played part in the movement to end violence against women, a panel discussion will be chaired by a member of the Scottish Women's Aid team and will take place at Dynamic Earth.

The event will be a mixture of a celebration of the progress that has been made in men and women working together to tackle violence against women over the years, and also a reminder of the journey yet to be completed. Add fun to the mixture and we are looking forward to an enjoyable event as we look to mark this year's 16 Days of Action to End Violence Against Women !

We need men and women to team up - you can register as a pair, or as an individual in which case we will do the rest!  Places for both parts of the event are limited so please register your place soon to avoid missing out!

To book your place:

·  You can raise funds for one of the partner organisations supporting the event; please click on the organisation logo on the attached pdf to find out how.

We look forward to joining you on Tuesday 3rd December!
