The 16 Days of Action

This year the 16 Days of Action will see events, workshops, film screenings and more taking place across Scotland.

The 16 Days of Action takes place every year in countries all over the world, to tackle violence against women and engage the public in local activism to fight for this cause.

White Ribbon Scotland will be organising and supporting events across the country. Below, are details of events going on near you. Find out what event is closest and make sure you get involved:


The local Rape Crisis Centre will be hosting an information event about their prevention work and will be holding drop in sessions. Find out more here

There will also be a conference to celebrate and explore how women and children rebuild their lives following domestic abuse. Find out more by getting in touch with Renfrewshire Council
