Speaker Training Date - Fife, Monday 29th April

We are developing a network of male speakers within Fife to build capacity and to equip men with the skills to engage other men in the campaign and by joining the network you can play an active role.

The network’s aim is to encourage debate surrounding violence against women in Scotland, particularly in highlighting that this is an issue for men to tackle. We will train men to have the skills, knowledge and resources to go out into the community to give talks and run workshop sessions. We have committed to delivering a programme of events and campaign activities to raise the profile of the White Ribbon Campaign within Fife and help the Campaign to engage with men in Scotland. White Ribbon Scotland will support the activity of the speakers, and will communicate its message through the network.

If you are a professional working in prevention of violence against women, an education worker, a long-term campaigner or just a man that wants to play a part in ending violence against women and gender inequality, then you could become a valuable addition to the White Ribbon Scotland Campaign’s activists and support those already campaigning within Fife.

We have booked a free training day which is listed below:

Monday 29th April - Auchterderran Centre, Cardenden - 9.30am-4.30pm
