Helplines for Men to be launched in Scotland

The Scottish Government have announced that they are to launch helplines for perpetrators and victims of domestic abuse.

The 'Men's Advice Line' helpline will go live in Scotland next month, with trained advisors offering confidential advice, practical advice and emotional support to Scottish men who have experienced domestic abuse. A separate helpline called 'Respect' will also be launched for men who are worried that their own behaviour towards a partner is abusive, and will provide men with a chance to get support to stop and change.

More information will be made available on the helplines shortly. Please see the Scottish Government's news release here for further information.
