'Breaking The Silence' - St John's Episcopal Church, Perth, 22nd November

White Ribbon Scotland looks forward to participating in this event hosted by the International Anglican Women's Network and the Mother's Union, to mark the 16 Days of Action to End Violence Against Women.

The event will be taking place at St John's Episcopal Church in Perth on 22nd November, with members of the local church community, violence against women partnership and the White Ribbon Scotland campaign presenting an interactive session.

Rev Dr Valerie Allen will be discussing the theological context of violence against women, providing an insight into the issue's representation in religious scripture and practise. Leigh-Ann Gregge from the Perth Violence Against Women Partnership will detail the initiatives being delivered in Perth to support victims and prevent violence against women, and Callum Hendry of White Ribbon Scotland will present a history of the White Ribbon Campaign to engage men in tackling violence against women and the importance of taking a stand during the international 16 Days of Action campaign to 'break the silence' which has existed for too long.

We would be delighted if you could join us on the day. The event begins at 10am and costs £2; to register please contact or Further information is available on this flyer.
