I want to help end men's violence against and from women’s violence because only if women stop being constantly violent against men and the police take seriously allegations of women being violent against men and children. Defending oneself against a violent attack by a woman should not be classified by the police as violence against women. Defending oneself from another person must never be separated by a person’s gender and if anybody thinks different can only be classifying themselves as ignorant sexist. I was married to a violent woman, who still works with vulnerable people in a physicatric hospital, who abused not only but the children however the police and social services did and will not do anything about it as I am a man. As a man reporting the crime they just did not know how to deal with such incidents. There must be equality in society and for this to happen those in authority must acknowledge and understand this. Gender must not be used as a tool to demonise one section of society and further polarise gender status.
