If you are experiencing violence

If you are facing violence you do not have to put up with it. There is support available. Contact the services below for free confidential advice. They can also direct you to local support services.

National domestic abuse helpline 0800 027 1234 (24 hours)

Your local Women’s Aid group

Police Domestic abuse is a criminal offence. Forces have specially trained, experienced officers.  Dial 101 or if you are in immediate danger phone 999.

National Rape Crisis Scotland Helpline 08088 01 03 02 support for anyone who has been affected by sexual violence. (6pm-midnight)

ChildLine 0800 1111 (24 hours) free national helpline for children and young people in trouble or danger.

Men's Advice Line 0808 801 0327 Services for men experiencing domestic abuse.

Broken rainbow: Support for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people experiencing domestic violence. 08452 60 44 60
