Get S.A.V.I bystander programme

Get S.A.V.I (Students Against Violence Initiative) was developed by Scottish Women's Aid, Zero Tolerance, Rape Crisis Scotland and LGBT Youth Scotland in partnership with White Ribbon Scotland. It has been used in colleges and Universities accross the country and is now part of a cross-campus programme and research project at the University of Lincoln.
Bystander programmes are programmes that aim to build confidence and skills in speaking up against sexism and homophobia- and the language and attitudes that contribute to all forms of gender based violence and abuse.
Get Savi does not promote intervention in physical circumstance, but rather provides participants with the opportunity to discuss strategies to stand up and speak out against gender based abuse. You can download the pack here.
